Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR): August 2023 Revenue Collections Total $2.429 Billion

The MA DOR reported August 2023 revenue collections totaled $2.429 billion -- $264 million (6.6%) more than collections in August 2022 – and $18 million (0.7%) below benchmark.

Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) year-to-date collections totaled approximately $5.096 billion -- $89 million (1.8%) more than the same period last year of Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23).

Massachusetts Legislature Back in Session

The Massachusetts Legislature is back from its August recess and has recommenced formal sessions. The Association is monitoring several pieces of legislation that will be heard at upcoming committee hearings over the course of the next few months.
